How do GFW maintain those standards?
Each product you purchase from GFW will have undergone and series of rigorous inspection procedures and safety checks before being deemed suitable for distribution. Our qualified and experienced QC teams undertake extensive checks in accordance with robust industry approved sampling plans. Every batch must pass those checks before it is approved to leave the Factory. Additional inspections are also carried out on receipt into the UK warehouse ensuring nothing has been overlooked or may have occurred during bulk transhipment. Those process combine to ensure that GFW have the confidence to supply products to your customers with the knowledge that they are reliable and safe.
Product safety: The confidence GFW have in the safety of the entire product range derives from compliance to all legislative European and British quality and safety standards,
All beds are fully tested for strength, stability and durability to BS -EN 1725 :1998. Upholstered items are fully tested in full compliance to Furniture and Furnishings fire safety regulations 1988.
Our cabinets and storage items are fully compliant to Domestic storage safety standards BS-EN 14749-2016.
Packaging: GFW understand a customer’s disappointment should their long-awaited piece of furniture arrive damaged due to being accidently dropped during the delivery process. Therefore, every effort is made to ensure all products are suitably protected to be able to sustain those unforeseen accidents and arrive without damage. To ensure products are given the best chance to survive the rigours of the distribution process we test drop from height each packaged product a minimum of 16 times on every carton face and corner. Following the test, the product is checked and only if undamaged the packaging specification approved for Production.
